She has been through the court system and now is pursuing HER PREFERRED OUTCOME outside the normal public’s reach, and the judge’s, for that matter.
Isn’t this a travesty?

I love American people and always will, but every single day I live here and watch the police beat peaceful people, everytime I pay $4 dollars for a gallon of gas, and whenever I watch Bush say or do anything I hate “Big Brother” more and more.
This entire society is completely corrupt and I’m spitting mad!! Whats your take?

Yes it’s just wrong. The way her mother acted in the courtroom is wrong. The fact is she was wrong, got caught 3 times. She’s a citizen just like everyone else and must abide by the laws of common man. I don’t care if she’s rich. She needs to do her jail time. A normal 26 year old wouldn’t have the means to appeal directly to a state govenor. The petition is based on that she’s pretty and makes people happy? *scoffing* I really do think that she’s trading on her blonde image and trying to take over the world…..it’s scary that there really might be a smart woman in there, but that people are just judging her on an image that she purposefully cultivates?

I looked up the story on news websites, and saw nothing about Paris Hilton actually calling Arnold about it. There is apparently a petition on the Internet .. by FANS .. to say that he should pardon her. That’s certainly not the same thing as her requesting a pardon.
If it was her doing it, then yes, it would be completely wrong. Just because someone is a celebrity does not mean that they should automatically get out of things.
HOWEVER, apparently the thing is that SHE is just simply appealing the court verdict (like anyone else would probably do).. It’s just some fans that are trying to circulate a petition.. Something that really wouldn’t do much of anything I am sure.
