She has been through the court system and now is pursuing HER PREFERRED OUTCOME outside the normal public’s reach, and the judge’s, for that matter.
Isn’t this a travesty?
Should this be possible?
What do you think would happen to you or me if we tried that?
Is that the most important thing Arnold can do with his “paid by our taxes” time?
I love American people and always will, but every single day I live here and watch the police beat peaceful people, everytime I pay $4 dollars for a gallon of gas, and whenever I watch Bush say or do anything I hate “Big Brother” more and more.
This entire society is completely corrupt and I’m spitting mad!! Whats your take?

Why Is Paris’ Hilton’s Sentence To Jail Such A Perversion Of The American Legal System And Due Process?

Clearly Ms. Hilton may not be entirely innocent, but the sentence handed down today for 45 days in jail was clearly one of the biggest blows to due process in this country (guaranteed under the 5th Amendment to the constitution).
In a monumental show of grandstanding this Judge sent Paris Hilton to jail for no other reason than Paris Hilton. Was it due to the fact that she was rich, good looking, etc. the reason of this judge’s decision? Maybe he just has a bias against celebrities…
Howard Weitzman, Hilton’s attorney has a profound understanding of this and so eloquently stated after the trial: “It is clear that she has been selectively targeted for prosecution for who she is.”
This statement is absolutely the case in this matter and it sets a dangerous precedent for the constitutional protections that all American’s hold dear. I personally would like to see this judge removed from office and put on trial himself for his unlawful and indecent judicial action today.

It just seems like they are just punishing him for what he got away with years earlier. I mean to get 33 years for a robbery & you were just taking your stuff back that was stolen from you in the first place. I mean Martha Stewart got like 9 months, all of these other celebrities do bone headed s**t & get like a week in jail. Though O.J was retarted, remedial, idiotic in doing what he did, I dont think his sentence was appropriate. My opinion really isn’t on either side, cuz I could care less….its not me getting ****** in the **** canal by a lifer, I just think that they were trying to get revenge for the murder case….

Each time a house goes up for sale, he owes more money!

Nicolas Cage has more to worry about than just the flailing economy when it comes to selling his property in New Orleans. Apparently, ole Nic owes about $6.26 million dollars on the joint in unpaid income taxes.

If you hadn’t guessed, that’s bad and makes the place fairly unsellable. Plus, that’s more than the one house is even worth!

Therefore, the IRS has just put yet another lien on Nic’s property, one he must pay in order to be able to sell the house. Considering that Nic was selling the properties to get himself out of the debt and now he can’t until he pays the taxes, we think Nic is just in a wee bit of trouble!!!!

Why Is It That When Celebrities Screw Up, People Don’t Want To Watch Their Movies Anymore?

I know this guy who says that ever since Wesley Snipes was arrested for tax evasion and fraud, he was “absolutely disgusted” and went like, “I refuse to watch any of his movies again.”
I have lady friend who said that she refused to watch Tom Cruise movies ever since he appeared on the Today Show and debated with Matt Lauer about prescription drug treatment for postpartum depression, saying that sufferers should only “take vitamins and complete a set of exercises”
I, personally, find it hard to cease watching anyone’s movies if they should screw up in their personal lives.
Who is in the moral? Someone who banishes Wesley Snipes/Tom Cruise films, or someone who doesn’t?

With the big bucks they have at there disposal. I can’t help to think that surly they could find more enjoyable things to do than getting high. Heck even homeless people can manage to get plastered. What’s their hang up ? There’s a world out there to explore and millions of fun things to do, why waste time with drugs?

Are Celebrities Protected By Hipaa?

With all the recent happenings to MJ (RIP), the media seems to be focused on obtaining his medical information such as past history, recent status, and autopsy, which I would assume is protected by HIPAA.
I’m asking this question because all sorts of medical information about MJ is being released by the media such as:
1. UCLA Medical acknowledging that MJ was at their facility.
2. UCLA Medical acknowledging MJ had a cardiac arrest.
3. UCLA Medical acknowledging that MJ passed away at their facility.
4. Coroner’s Office releasing information of the autopsy results.
5. Coroner’s Office planning to release toxicology results in 6-8 weeks.
Isn’t information like this protected by HIPAA?
I’m assuming someone from the Jackson family gave permission to release MJ’s medical information, or it would be a clear violation of HIPAA.

okay, so normal unfamous people, when we get arrested 4 drunk driving or something, then we stay in jail 4 years or even a lifetime! but when the person is famous, like britney spears or paris hilton, they go 2 jail 4 3 days or something!!!! why is it totally unfair?! i think that is called discrimination! why can’t the gov.(or whoever does it) just pick one 4 all of us! either everyone stays in jail 4 3 days, or every one stays in jail for years or a lifetime! but, don’t u think its unfair?!
