Author Damon Lloyd Goffe is suing Oprah and her production company, Harpo, for allegedly stealing material from the writer’s work titled A Tome of Poetry and publishing it under the name, Pieces of My Soul.

According to legal documents, Goffe claims the talk show host admitted to the thievery last year.

The poet believes that since Oprah sold over 650 million editions of the work online for $20 a copy, he is entitled to 1.2 trillion dollars!

The creepiest thing about the 53-year-old guy in this photo isn’t the hair — it’s that he’s been arrested a second time for allegedly targeting 16-year-old Miley Cyrus.

Mark McLeod — the same guy who once claimed Miley had been sending him “secret messages” through her TV show — has been arrested in Georgia on an “attempted stalking” charge.

Back in June, McLeod was warned to stay away from Miley, after a disorderly conduct arrest in which he told cops no one could keep them from “being together.” Cops then warned McLeod to keep away from the actress.

But this week, cops say McLeod was spotted hanging around the area where Miley is shooting her new movie — so they got a warrant and yesterday, they arrested the guy.

We’re told McLeod admitted he was trying to get in contact with Miley when he was arrested.

McLeod is currently being held at the Columbia County Detention Center.

As we first reported, Disney got wind of Mark’s June arrest — the one in which he allegedly told cops a slew of crazy stuff about Miley — and warned cops in L.A. to keep their eyes on him.

The reason for the delay … the judge said she wants Brown to perform Caltrans-type work — hard labor — for his community service. The plan for the community service in Virginia was not fully in place, so the judge wants to see the full schedule at the end of the month.

The judge wants to know what Brown will be doing for his community service — 90% of the community service is accounted for but the remaining 10% needs to be locked down.

Rihanna’s lawyer, Donald Etra, says Brown has not violated the stay away order.

Brown pled guilty to felony assault last month.

Chris Brown, a multi-platinum R&B singer, and boyfriend of Rihanna, recently was arrested (and released) for assault on her.
At first I thought he only smacked her, but apparently it was worse than I thought. It is said that she has a bruised face, bloody nose, and a busted lip.
It’s shocking because this Chris Brown individual seemed like a nice, likeable person. However, he did say he grew up around abuse as a child.
It was said that the two were arguing in the car on the way to the Grammy Awards. Rumors have it that she was jealous & angry because he was talking to another woman.

Mel Gibson and his pregnant girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva were in the mood for a party Wednesday night when they attended the grand opening of Playhouse nightclub, a new hotspot in Los Angeles.

Gibson and his girlfriend snuck into the club from the back entrance to avoid the red carpet arrival line and settled into their VIP area. They joined 15 other friends, most of which seemed to be friends of hers.

One club-goer tells Hollyscoop exclusively that “Mel looked so happy and in love” at the club. And “they genuinely seemed to be having a great time together. “

The group seemed to be celebrating something, as most of them were making a lot of toasts. Mel and Oksana seemed to be in good spirits and were hoping for a great night out on the town. Unfortunately, all they got was trouble.

A Life & Style reporter posing as a fan tried to snap a picture of Gibson and his girlfriend, but his security team immediately took the camera and deleted the pictures.

One of the school bullies from the “Harry Potter” movies must have taken a botany class at Hogwarts — cause cops say the 19-year-old was keeping a weed garden in his home.

Jamie Waylett, the guy who played Vincent Crabbe in all five Potter flicks, was arrested in London on Thursday after cops say they found eight bags of weed in a car Jamie and another man were in.

Later that day, cops tell TMZ they raided Jamie’s home — where officials say cops found a bunch of plants “believed to be cannabis plants and equipment for the cultivation of plants.”

Waylett and the other man are due back in court in July.

Would you agree that fame has a very huge downfall these days?
I mean, it must have been a lot easier 60 years ago when all of the major studios (Warner Bros.) protected the reputations of their actors. (i.e. if one was arrested for a D.U.I, ‘the studio would take care of it’ and keep it out of the public eye.
But today in 2009, D.U.I. news is FRONT PAGE news!
Not to mention, with hi-tech handheld devices, audio devices, portable cameras can catch actors off-guard at their worst, like when Christian Bale’s 36 F-Bomb tirade was caught on tape.
Not to mention, even regular people carry around handheld cameras with them, and they are always taking pictures of celebrities when they are shopping in stores. It’s like the celebs have no privacy at all.
Was it a lot easier to be famous 60 years ago than today?

first of all, i would like to tell poeple that Im obsessed with celebrities, i must catch up whats happening to them lately. and some of my friends that im crazy for just loving celebrities to death.
so, i know that the chris-rihanna incident was so long time ago, but i dont know i just kept thinking about it. its like so important to me. I am a big fan of both so im not on anyone’s side.
But honestly, i dont think Chris is entirely guilty. I know he beats rihanna up but it would be funny. because, i mean why would he arrest himself to police when he’s guilty? isnt he suppose to be hiding? there must be something.
and since i am soo into paranormal stuff. i tend to believe that all these things are caused by demons. i know i sound funny, but that’s what i think of. i know there has been no prove but isnt it just obvious that all these are absurd.
i mean all of a sudden, when they were back from the pre grammy party, and it happens?
